◂ Rims ▸
For butterfly weave rims, the carbon layers overlap in a distinctive pattern resembling butterfly wings. This finish is also known as braided weave, UD X-weave, butterfly knot, or butterfly effect. The pattern is distributed evenly around the spoke holes, helping reinforce the rim wall in these high-stress areas. The BRD28 series (ProX Butterfly Weave Road Disc, 28mm width) rims are constructed from premium Toray T800 and T1000 carbon fiber. Performance comes not only from the advanced materials themselves, but also from the correct fiber ratio and carefully engineered lay-up process, forming the basis for a lightweight and strong rim structure. Material cost is also higher than standard T700 construction. Compared with our regular UD weave rims, weight is reduced by approximately 10g per rim.

◂ Hubs ▸
ProX C67DB road disc brake hubs are developed specifically for full carbon spokes, delivering super lightweight performance and exceptionally smooth operation.- Equipped with a 36T ratchet system (same operating principle as DT Swiss hubs). Compared with traditional pawl systems, the ratchet mechanism engages across the full tooth surface simultaneously, providing higher load capacity, reduced wear or slipping, and more efficient power transfer.- With S&S ceramic bearings for low rolling resistance and smooth, high-performance rotation.- Large flanges designed specifically for carbon spokes provide quicker acceleration response, making these hubs an excellent choice for performance-focused riders.- A 14:7 spoke ratio between the drive side and non-drive side creates more balanced spoke tension, resulting in improved wheel strength and stiffness.- Front Hub 12x100mm Thru-axle | Rear Hub 12x142mm Thru-axle.- Freehub body options include Shimano 11/12-speed HG, SRAM XDR, and Shimano MSR.

◂ Spokes ▸
Carbon spokes CS1 weigh 2.9g/pc, 3.2g plus aluminum nipple (1.8g lighter than Sapim CX-Ray spoke with nipple).
If choose carbon spokes to CS2 (5.5mm width), Weight +10g/pair.
The carbon spoke provides both higher stiffness and better fatigue life compared to the traditional steel spokes.
The max spoke tension of the carbon spoke is 528kgf according to our in-lab test, which is much higher than regular steel spokes (typically under 400kgf).
